We love learning in Fledgling Class

The children in Fledgling Class have been fascinated with number this week. They have been measuring and comparing the length of worms, counting bugs and working on their number formation.  We loved our new Uno game and enjoyed matching patterns, colours and numbers - there was so many opportunities to talk, share and challenge ourselves. Moise worked on his number bonds to 10 using Numicon while Mia and Mayita thought about numeral and quantity using dice patterns. 

We have been very creative in our block play both inside and out. Car ramps and motorbikes have been the theme this week. We were learning how to combine different shapes appropriately.

We have also been challenging ourselves physically - pulling sledges and creating amazing trampoline high jumps!
