Starlings weekly blog
We have had such an exciting start to the new term! We welcomed staff from Hilliers Garden Centre who brought with them a range of plants and seeds for the children to sow – they really enjoyed getting their hands dirty and we now can watch 30 plants grow in the classroom over the coming weeks. The children have also enjoyed a taster martial arts session, this not only introduced the children to exciting techniques but also key messages around discipline and respect. It is going to be a busy term as we count down to the Christian celebration of Easter, the children will be looking forward and working towards their ultimate treat, a second Class Disco!
In Starlings, we think about our learning behavior and consider our choices carefully. We learn from our mistakes and support each other. We collect house points and marbles for making the right choices and together we have chosen our rewards:
Our teacher - Mr Field
I am thrilled to be teaching year 3 this year. I am an energetic and outgoing teacher who loves to laugh! This is my second year in teaching having previously served as a Police Officer for many years. I live locally with my wife, two daughters and dog. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and am looking forward to this academic year.
