Who's Who

Learning, Transforming and Growing

‘I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.’  Genesis 28:15

Senior Leadership Team

Headteacher - Mrs Victoria Woods

I have been a teacher for 25 years working in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in a wide variety of schools. My passion for learning is rooted in my own education when as a young child I attended a variety of different schools due to my father being in the RAF. This led me to really appreciate and understand the difference teachers and schools can make to a child’s life and when I left University I wanted to be part of making that difference to children myself.
I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher at St Mary's, a position I took up in September 2015 having previously been Headteacher at 2 other Oxfordshire schools and also having spent 5 years working for the Local Authority supporting schools facing all sorts of challenges.
The team here at St Mary’s are second to none and work tirelessly to offer our children a rich and varied educational experience, never accepting second best. We have lots of fun and I love celebrating our children's success with them. It is true to say I am lucky enough to have the best job in the world!

Assistant Headteacher / SENCo - Ms Sara Bailey

I have been teaching now for  over 18 years.  I am especially delighted to be part of the learning journey of such wonderfully enthusiastic children! My specific responsibilities include coordinating Special Educational Needs across school and I also have a key role in Safeguarding.

St Mary's is a fantastic community to be a part of. One of the most enjoyable and rewarding features of my job is getting to know our families and working together to support the learning and development of our pupils.
Assistant Headteacher - Mrs Sarah Di Giorno

I am positive and passionate about my work, leading, inspiring and motivating others to give of their best. I love working in a school where the staff all work together to create stimulating and challenging learning environments to engage and motivate our children. I have responsibility for learning in Key Stage 2 (y3,4,5,and 6) as well as leading English across the school. I coordinate RE and I am the SIAMs lead for St Mary's.

It is a privilege to work in a fantastic primary school within the heart of a great community of adults and children alike.

Assistant Headteacher - Miss Helen Prud'homme

I am delighted to be part of the wonderful team at St Mary’s School as the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Leader (yN,R,1 and 2) as well as leading Science and DT across the school. I completed my degree in Early Childhood Studies and my PGCE, specialising in Early Years, at the University of Warwick.

I am passionate about creative teaching and never fail to be amazed at what children can achieve. I am excited to be part of the learning journey of such wonderfully enthusiastic children. I am enjoying working with a team professionals creating a stimulating environment where every child is motivated to learn and happy at school .
