Viking Expo

It was a little chilly but wow, what a performance for KS2 showcasing to our families what we have learnt this term for our Vikings project. We threw ourselves into the Viking role for our call and response performance,  answering the many questions with the fascinating facts we have learnt this term. Goldcrests performed their music piece they have learnt this term using their voices and a range of percussion instruments. Kestrels performed music they composed as a class using musical notation. 
Skylarks and Wrens demonstrated to our visitors their favourite Commando Joes missions completed this term, inspired by the Viking explorer Leif Erickson. Communication and teamwork were key for a successful mission. 
It was wonderful to welcome family to showcase what we have been learning this term.
