This week in Fledglings

We have been really busy in Fledgling Class again this week. We have enjoyed experimenting with the sewing table. We have made our own parrots out of socks, found out how to sew our own bags and made a communal tapestry!

We have been doing lots of measuring too. Finding out about the length of our feet, comparing them with shoes on and off. We also enjoyed measuring objects around the garden using the tape measure. 

We had a new telescope in the classroom and had great fun looking at things around the classroom. We found looking at the sky really fascinating.

We got dressed up at Pirates and made our own pirate hats in the creative area. We learnt a sea shanty and explored a variety of Pirate themed books. 

We continue to enjoy using Tales Toolkit in the classroom, narrating and illustrating our own stories!

​School Values in Action: 
Congratulations to Aniela in Reception and Zayan in Nursery who were awarded the 'Values Certificate' this week from Mrs Woods for demonstrating Compassion. Both children  showing support to their Fledgling friends when they needed help.
