Swallows and Magpies Update

We have had yet another busy week with lots of amazing learning happening. We have continued use The Bear and the Piano as our focus for English and there was some brilliant drama going on in Magpies at the start of the week to help them understand the events in the story. Year 4 have been swimming yet again this week and Mrs Woods presented lots of them with certificates - fab job! Year 3 have progressed in their dance too! Both classes have continued learning about sound - this week we investigated how we can change the pitch of an instrument and how this changes the vibration. Finally, Mrs Smith set her group a maths challenge and there was lots of amazing thinking and discussions happening - and lots of solutions!
