Superb Swallows and Marvellous Magpies

What an amazing start to the school year! We have only been back for two and a half weeks but we have achieved so much and we are so proud of all the children. They have all settled in well to the new routines and it is often easy to spot our values in action. As part of our English work, we have been reading 'Gulliver's Travels' by Johnathon Swift and during our maths lessons, we have been deepening our understanding of number and place value. We have also been learning about the countries of the British Isles and using the different points on a compass.
