Kingfishers explore the oceans.

Last week, Kingfishers were focusing on our school project of 'United'. We explored our oceans and the animals in them; learning about ocean pollution and how plastic materials are harmful to them. Using our WOW tray to see the affects from plastic in our oceans.

Kingfishers also created still life drawings of shells last week, using different mediums such as pastels to create depth and tone to our drawings. We have loved inspecting the shells, the patterns they have and their shapes. 

Kingfishers have also been investigating number bonds in maths! Learning our number bonds to 10 and 20 has been very exciting, using new ways to understand numbers.
