Owls and wondering, Singing and performing..

​To celebrate world book day, we participated in a poetry festival at St Mary’s Church. Ava, Finley, Jacob and Lottie represented our class fantastically when they read out their poems about climate change. Well done!

​This week a strange, bizarre and intriguing cube of mysteries arrived outside the year 5 and 6 classrooms. Inside was a collection of objects – a clue for what our Spring 2 topic contained. After some predictions we finally discovered our new project is 1001 Arabian Nights! 

​There’s also been a lovely sound floating out of the year 5 and 6 classes this week...singing! We are preparing hard for our special concert on Tuesday, where we get to perform with a live rock band. Rock on!
