Our future scientists

Oh hi there readers, this is our brand new blog about year six and their learning this term. This term our project is about life cycles. This week we have been learning about pollination and the role of the different parts of the flower. Here is an interview with Ava   talking about science so far this term. “We have been learning about lifecycles. We have so far been learning about pollination and the role of different parts of flowers. There was also a visit from Zoolab who had  many animals including an African snail and a corn snake. My favourite animal was the gerbil.

Y6 took part in a workshop hosted by Cherwell Theatre Company. We talked about what a substance is, the situations you may find yourself in as we grow up and protective behaviours we should use to protect ourselves.
