Naturally Creative in Fledglings

We have really enjoyed investigating our natural resources this week. Inspired by our key and linked texts we have begun to make our own transient art people and animals.

Look at this fantastic Tales Toolkit story that Layla created in response to out key text 'The Visitors'.

We are really enjoying our writing and mark making at the moment. Creating stories, labelling pictures and having a go at recording words, wring menus, recording ingredients in the mud kitchen, completing order forms in the florist and recording sentences independently.

We have been using books to identify minibeasts and to inspire our creations. 

We have looking after our environment and exploring the outdoor resources. Planting seeds and bulbs and potting on our sunflowers! We even looked at creating our own natural paints grating chalks and stones.

We continue to explore number and measure both inside and out. Measuring feet, ceating our own games and setting our own challenges. 

We are really proud of how the children support each other, and demonstrate everyday how they work together to make such a fantastic team.
