Kookaburras are in the Zone!

All the Year 2 Kookaburras have made a really positive start to the beginning of the school year and should feel very proud of themselves. It was nice to have some warm sun to accompany PE on the field although it was quite hot in class by the middle of the afternoon. We have enjoyed reading stories written by the author Jill Murphy as part of our reading enrichment, especially ‘Meltdown’ about a small rabbit and a supermarket tantrum about cake! The work we have been exploring about zones of regulation has been fun and we all enjoyed painting pictures of people representing some of the emotions in each zone.
