Fledglings are proud to be different

Fledglings were surprised to find a jigsaw of their faces in the classroom today! Lots of children explored putting the pieces back together and then were excited to discover we had been left a present in very special wrapping paper. We are starting this term with the key text 'It's Okay to Be Different' by Todd Parr - exploring and celebrating the ways we are diverse, unique and special. We read through the story and will dive more into the messages in the book over the term as part of our Autumn 2 topic, 'Little People, Big Dreams.'
