The children in Fledglings class have been busy exploring their learning environment and developing their friendships.

They have enjoyed using books inside and out to find out more about their interests. Hector enjoyed using the photobook made by the children in Fledglings class last year to match objects in the transient art area.

Daniel wanted to know more about birds after finding lots of feathers in the garden.

Sophia and Dragos enjoyed looking at the books from the 'Shark in the Park' series, they have become a class favorite already. Jayden had fun looking through the books outside.

Zayan and Vaiga used books to inspire their cretive projects. They demonstrated their ability to follow instructions and to review and adapt their work where needed. Inspired by a book about socks, Sammara decided to make a sock puppet in the sewing area. She used needle and thread to sew on eyes, developing her fine motor skills.

Curisoity Corner has provided lots of opportunities for awe and wonder - sparking some great discussions on light, shadow, shape and colour. An opportunity for adult to encourage and introduce new vocabulary.
