Different ways to show our learning

We have focused this week on looking after ourselves, both by remembering how important hygiene is in our environment and for ourselves and thinking about how to look after our own well-being.  

In English, we began writing our own 1002 Arabian Nights story, using some fantastic descriptions for the setting and the characters.  We spoke about revealing the character's personality and problems, rather than simply telling the reader straight away.  You can see from the picture below how we tried to show and not tell!  

We have also been practising using our online resources to support our learning, such as timestable rockstars (https://play.ttrockstars.com/)
topmarks.co.uk, purplemash.com  and this week, learning how to access Google drive. Google Drive will be used to store and share online documents with the children.  We can use this collaboratively in school and it can also be accessed from home.
