Caring Cuckoos are exploring together...

​It is lovely to be back in school and to welcome new children into Year 2. Cuckoo class has already been busy with lots of indoor and outdoor learning. We enjoyed painting pictures of ourselves standing together as one united class and also made flags for all the different countries which make up the United Kingdom. In Maths, we have been recognising two digit numbers and exploring number sequences up to 100, we have even tried number dictation! In English, we have been responding to a shared text and written about Percy the park keeper and his animal friends uniting together to solve a problem. It was fun to be keeping fit with the Activators on the field on Monday and as a special treat we spent some time in Fledglings garden on Thursday. It was great to be outside in the autumn sunshine enjoying exploring things together.
