Busy week in Fledglings Class

It has been a busy week in Fledglings class. Despite the rain we have made the most of our time outside. We made our own bubble wands by making shapes from willow we cut down in the garden.

Eva showed us how good she has become at climbing the tree. 

Aniela taught her own phonics lesson to her friends and David practiced writing the new digraph he had learnt in the sand.

Uzair wrote out instructions for the obstacle course we created. Using his phonic knowledge to write jump, up, set, run. 

Leticia recorded marks for scores in a maths game.

Inside we loved our new museum role play. We created our own tickets and enjoyed selling them to our friends.

Aidan was inspired to research fossils, create his own using salt dough and then make his own fossil guide book for museum visitors.

here were lots of opportunities to write for a purpose and follow our interests.

Liliana and Julia created their own stories.  Orla painted and labelled a portrait of Miss Prud'homme.  Arsilo labelled the 'on' and 'off' switch for his laser.  

We explored how to make spirals on the Lazy Susan. Abdul wrote a label for his Batman Car. Savannah created her own sock bear in the sewing area and then made a cave for it too!

Elin made up her own game. Rolling the dice and then matching the score to the matching number cow.

We also enjoyed exploring our new shaddow box.
