Busy Times for Kingfishers

​This week has been really busy with lots of events and learning. We started our week with an amazing forest school day with Fledglings. We took part in lots of activities including natural painting with berries, building bug hotels, making journey sticks, making clay pots and even toasting bread on a fire! We had the best afternoon! In maths we have been exploring 3D shape and learning about the properties of 3D shapes including the number of faces, edges and vertices. On Thursday we went to St Mary’s church and performed a poem as part of our world book day celebrations. We performed ‘School in Spring’ which is based on the poem ‘Bed in Summer’ by Robert Louis Stevenson.
