In English this week the children have been using figurative language to describe monsters inspired by Beowulf, some of the creations have been really vivid. In Maths we have been working on capacity which means mastering number lines, this will continue into the early part of next week. For PE, the children have been developing dances inspired by Wizards and Witches (we the help of some classic 90s dance music). We have also found time to research Anglo-Saxon Britain and design Anglo-Saxon villages. Our class worship was on the theme of courage, the children decorated miniature hearts which are now kept in the classroom, we also developed a class prayer for courage.
