Learning, Transforming and Growing

The last fortnight has been a whirlwind of discovery in the Kingfisher's classroom. We've been diving deep into the fascinating world of numbers, specifically those between 10 and 50 and finding out how they are made up of 10s and 1s.

But numbers weren't the only things keeping us busy. We embarked on a fitness adventure inspired by out visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park! Our PE lessons were transformed into a jungle gym as we crab walked, bear crawled and even attempted some graceful(ish) bird poses. The laughter and energy were contagious, and it was a fantastic way to explore movement and coordination.

Speaking of inspiration, we were lucky enough to have a visit from a real life champion - Laurence Whiteley, the paralympian rower! Laurence shared his incredible story of determination and perseverance, proving that anything is possible with hard work and a positive attitude. The children were captivated by his stories and left inspired to follow their dreams.

Stay tuned for our next adventure - who knows what exciting discoveries await.
