A WOW week in Kestrels!

What a busy week in Kestrels! We have had so much fun and been so successful in our learning. Firstly, we developed our cooperation, teamwork and communication skills by working together and building our very own Roman fort to protect ourselves. Look at what we have built! Would you feel safe and protected in our fort?! We did!

Ever used a protractor to help you measure angles in degrees?! We have!!! And we even got to write on the tables during our learning (ssshhh don't tell Mrs Woods!) 

Scientists in the making! This week we put our lab coats on and investigated how to separate materials based on their scientific properties. We investigated filtering, sieving, magnetism and evaporation based on materials being solids, liquids or gases.

Interested in finding out what reversible and irreversible reactions are? DO NOT WORRY! We can show you! We finished our science lessons off with  a BANG!! (or a FIZZ) and erupted our volcanoes using Bicarbonate of Soda and Vinegar. Is this a reversible or irreversible reaction? Tune in the find out!
