A fun filled week of learning with Owls and Kestrels!

This week, we have loved learning all about the heart. We took our learning outside and made heart diagrams with chalks and cones. We then took it in turns to explain and show how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood moves through the heart  using the new scientific vocabulary we had learnt. 

Athletics is one of our PE topics this term and this week, we have been learning all about different throwing techniques. When we unpicked the actions that are involved with throwing, we were amazed at the multiple steps that need to take place before the object has even been thrown!
