A class of Kingfishers

This week in Kingfishers we have had so much fun being together, learning and discovering!

In maths, we have been looking at ordering numbers, using different resources and activities to see numbers in a variety of ways. We took ordering numbers further by using our computing programme 'Purple Mash', where there are a lots of tools and games to help us explore and secure ordering numbers.

Children were intrigued by our WOW tray this week, learning all about shells; linking to our United project. We spoke about size, shape, textures, patterns and how when we held them up to our ears we could hear the ocean!

We love to be creative here in Kingfishers and spend a lot of time together exploring, drawing and making in our creative area. We have had lots of discussion and laughter around the table this week; helping each other and asking questions.
