Nuthatches are lively little birds with a bright flash of colour, often spotted darting around the trees. Just like us, we are always curious, adventurous and ready to explore! In Year 2, we think about our learning behaviour and consider our choices carefully. We learn from our mistakes and support each other. We collect house points and stars in the jar for making the right choices and together we have chosen our rewards:

Our Class Teacher - Miss Brooks

I am delighted to be one of the Year 2 teachers this year! I’m really looking forward to exploring a range of exciting subjects together as we dive into lots of engaging learning. I have a passion for storytelling, and one of my favourite books is The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. In my free time I enjoy going on long walks, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I’m excited for all the fun and learning we will share this year!

Our Class Teacher - Miss Hajdu

I am thrilled to be one of the Year 2 teachers this year! I look forward to learning our English together, where we get to discover various texts. I love reading and one of my favourite books is 'The BFG by Roald Dahl'. I am from Hungary and on the weekends you will often find me cooking lots of different Hungarian dishes. I look forward to all the fun learning we will do together.

Our Class book - Fantastic Mr Fox

Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl is a clever and fast-paced story about a sly fox who outwits three greedy farmers to provide food for his family. Living beneath a tree, Mr. Fox risks everything by sneaking into the farms of Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. Full of humour, suspense and charm, the book celebrates wit, teamwork and standing up against bullies.
