Skylarks are bright, curious and full of character, known for soaring high and filling the skies with their beautiful song. Just like our class, we are ready to spread our wings, explore new ideas and take on new challenges together!
We are kind, enthusiastic and determined, always ready to support and encourage one another. We celebrate each other’s successes, learn from our mistakes and make sure everyone feels valued and included. Together, we will create a classroom where our Skylarks can grow in confidence, discover their strengths and truly soar!
In Year 3, we think about our learning behaviour and consider our choices carefully. We learn from our mistakes and support each other. We collect house points and marbles for making the right choices, and together we have chosen our rewards:
| 150 marbles | 300 marbles | 450 marbles | 600 marbles |
|
Bring in our favourite toy |
Non-school uniform day | Extra OPAL playtime | Art afternoon |
Miss Hajdu and Mrs Smith both enjoy spending time with their families and making the most of their time outside school. Miss Hajdu loves cooking Hungarian dishes, reading and relaxing with a good book, while Mrs Smith enjoys being outdoors, travelling and exploring new places in her campervan. They both love keeping active and enjoying new adventures!

This term, we will be reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, a thrilling story about a mysterious giant robot who arrives on Earth. As we follow the Iron Man’s adventures and his unusual friendship with a young boy, we will explore themes of courage, friendship and overcoming challenges.
Here is our termly cog document where you can find details of the different subjects we are covering this term.
