Sparrows are cheerful and full of energy, often seen flocking together and filling the air with their song. Just like our class, we enjoy working as a team, sharing ideas, and letting our curiosity take flight!
We are thoughtful, determined, and always ready to encourage one another. We work hard, celebrate achievements big and small, and create a classroom where everyone feels valued. Together, we make our learning community a place where every child can flourish.

In Year 3, we think about our learning behaviour and consider our choices carefully. We learn from our mistakes and support each other. We collect house points and marbles for making the right choices, and together we have chosen our rewards:
| 150 marbles | 300 marbles | 450 marbles | 600 marbles |
|
Craft afternoon |
Afternoon of busy time | Biscuit decorating | Extra OPAL playtime |
I am really looking forward to teaching Year 3 this year and to welcoming everyone into our Sparrows class. Together, we’ll build a classroom that is caring, supportive, and full of curiosity. I’m excited to explore our projects with the children, from investigating different habitats to travelling back in time to discover the Anglo-Saxons, and of course enjoying our trips along the way. One of my favourite subjects to teach is English, as I love seeing children grow in confidence as writers and storytellers.
Outside of school, I enjoy relaxing with a good book, spending time with my family, heading out for walks, and following the Formula 1.

George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl This funny and imaginative story follows young George Kranky, who decides to create a magical medicine to cure his grumpy grandmother. Mixing together all sorts of strange and surprising ingredients, George soon discovers that his invention has extraordinary — and hilarious — results! The story encourages children to use their imagination and think about consequences, problem-solving, and character behaviour in a fun and engaging way. |
