Absorbing water

This week, Year 2 have been mini scientists, testing out all sorts of materials to see which ones can soak up water! From metal to stone to plastic, they’ve been having lots of fun splashing, pouring, and observing which materials absorb the most. It’s been a week full of hands-on experiments, and the class has loved discovering how different materials behave with water!
