I have been a teacher for 24 years working in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in a wide variety of schools. My passion for learning is rooted in my own education when as a young child I attended a variety of different schools due to my father being in the RAF. This led me to really appreciate and understand the difference teachers and schools can make to a child’s life and when I left University I wanted to be part of making that difference to children myself.
I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher at St Mary's, a position I took up in September 2015 having previously been Headteacher at 2 other Oxfordshire schools and also having spent 5 years working for the Local Authority supporting schools facing all sorts of challenges.
The team here at St Mary’s are second to none and work tirelessly to offer our children a rich and varied educational experience, never accepting second best. We have lots of fun and I love celebrating our children's success with them. It is true to say I am lucky enough to have the best job in the world!
